really cool game tho only problem it has it that the iron and stone become obsolete quickly and you can't get rid of guys basically punishing you for having them once you buy the upgrades also no real ending but it was fun and cute
I like how once you get the engine upgrade and have nothing else to do, you can just spam the balloon button with your fruit and go higher than the background eventually
So I'm a little confused by the ranking system on the dare page, I'm seeing different results around but on one of the pages you ranked #1, so....congratulations I think!?
Had a lot of fun trying this out, really took me back to my flash-game days! Felt like one of the idle resource games I'd play in a hidden tab in the computer lab during class, haha.
Great interpretation of the theme, and great graphics for it! Not sure how we got an island in the sky or what we did that made it start falling, but boy do I want to save it!
My only complaint is I didn't put together that I can soft-lock the game by accidentally hiring on too many people and not having room to hire a miner, and there's no way to hand a pick axe to someone already here, or a parachute for that matter.
Again, very well done, and a possible congratulations for your place in the contest! Hope you did well!
Really nice and clean UI for a compo game. The progression of upgrades is nice to sit through. I hope in the future there might be an end screen or hidden surprise at the top of the sky :D
While not at all unexpected because of the time limit, I think I found a slight balancing issue :^) I got above the sky without touching the mine at all.
Fun core loop, nice upgrade path. I would have liked a "win" upgrade like 50 iron and reach max height to finish the game. Took about 10 minutes to reach end state, but it was full of fun decision making along the way.

This was really a 15 minutes experience, the UI is perfect and the art is beutiful. It's a engaging game, this could be like a clicker or something.
